The Diploma examinations will be held once a year in Auckland and Wellington, and will consist of an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE). Details will be available at the residential courses and prior to the exam.
The Residential courses consist of hands on teaching of medical gynaecology, family planning and sexual health. These will be held in Auckland and Christchurch. Details of the residential courses and distance learning requirements of 712, 716 and GEN A 702 are available on enrolment. The diploma includes one of the two residential courses. It is recommended that trainees attend the final rather than the initial residential course - OBSTGYN 722 or OBGY 719.
